Hi. I had a mobile number which i disconnected by accident that I wish to have back.
I cancelled my pay monthly plan this month, oct and am moving to VOXI. Unfortunately since VOXI is basically Vodafone, I didn’t think I will need a PAC code and waited too long to make the move. They said the disconnection was already in process when I tried to move the number.
Spoke to Vodafone yesterday on the 28th Oct, they said they are happy to reverse the disconnection but it will take 24 hours. Unfortunately when I woke up today, the number is disconnected and I cannot login to Vodafone. Which also means I cannot contact support via phone or TOBi.
Is there anyway I can get my old number back? The number is really important and I have had it for over 15 years.

Hi @Adam_ypw 👋 If the team you spoke to said they were going reverse the disconnection, they would just need to wait until your number disconnects before they can reconnect it for you. If after restarting your phone you still don`t have reception, please drop our social team a message via this link and we will be happy to help further.

I have the same issue as everyone else on here its been 24hours and I'm still disconnected if they can't bring the number back then what happens? The customer service has been terrible if they know they can't do anything why nit be upfront and get an alternative number because they are so quick to take your money but there's an error after.

Hey @Mish_M I'm sorry to see it's taking a little longer than expected to get your number back after it was accidently disconnected. When we request a reconnection of a number it can take 24 hours to complete and it helps if the phone containing the SIM is turned off during this time. If the 24 hours as expired, please try refreshing your connection to our network by restarting your phone. If it still isn't connecting, please reach out to my team by popping us a message via one of our social channels and we'll be able to look into this for you.

I have been trying that for days they keep saying its troubleshooting and wait another 48 hours whenever the time is passed the same issue non-stop I've spoken to so many people and I keep getting passed down to people and told to wait for another 48 hours and sometimes the phone just hangs up the customer service has been the worst I've ever seen I'm regretting choosing Vodafone because a lot of people seem to be having this issue and I feel people just say they will do something to shut us up but nothing is getting resolved and I use this phone for my work and I'm missing important calls. Please can someone reconnect my number.

Hello I've had nothing but terrible customer service as a ex customer service manager I'm in shock and flabbergasted if I'm honest. 6 days my phone is disconnected and keep being told 48 hours every 48 hours I wait nothing and they don't care but they expect me to pay my bill on time. They were only happy about taking my £237 then after that they don't care. I'm not the only one having this issue the fact that I was told they can do things manually but I have to wait if they keep getting an error after 6 days common sense will tell me why don't we just try and get this done manually but when you up going to the newspaper that might make things quicker because they don't care despite me explaining the importance of me having services.

@Mish_M - I don't want you to feel like we don't care. I understand how important it is to stay connected and I'm sorry your number hasn't been reconnected yet.
