druimmuir
4: Newbie

for 2 weeks now i have been trying to upgrade via the website or the app it tells me i am due an upgrade then i get the following error as attached

The app is the same have tried 4 different browsers same thing

Tried online chat who couldn't help and told me to ring for options

But tbh link should work and i want to see onscreen the options available to me surely that isn't too much to ask ?

No it's most definitely not unreasonable to be able to see what's on offer to you @druimmuir

But if trying other browsers and or the Vodafone app isn't working for you and clearing cache and cookies and browsing history isn't helping then the next natural option at this time is ringing 191 and choosing the Thinking of Leaving option to get through to the Retention Team or use Live chat. They can go thorough what's available then you can leave the conversation and have a think etc.

The Vodafone Social Media Team's via Contact-us-for-account-specific-queries can help too.

I wish you all the best with this.

I don't want to speak to someone and have them read off options while i scribble it all down i want to be able to look on a screen like i have done for every other upgrade and compare why are vodafone not bothering to fix this or acknowledge there is a problem u even sent me a txt saying i am due an upgrade click the link....and it doesn't work.....

Hopefully then the glitch will self resolve ASAP @druimmuir

The Vodafone Social Media Team's can check that your account is OK.

The Social Media Team's are certainly in a position to check things for you in regards to your account.

You just need to use the Facebook or Twitter options in the link I added.

If this was a widespread problem with Vodafone systems then I'd expect to see more new posts. This makes me think it's possibly your account.

Totally appreciate your frustrated with this situation @druimmuir

Did you ask them to specifically check your account  ?

Surely they should have suggested it if they thought my account was a problem ? I sent a link to other forum posts showing someone else also had a problem at no point has vodafone offered to check anything surely the whole point of asking for help is for things to be suggested and tried on vodafones side also not for the customer to suggest things to be checked themselves ? I can see i am not going to get any help on this forum either

I'm sorry you feel that way @druimmuir

We as fellow customers can advise and give guidance but there isn't account access on this forum.

Sorry.
