Hi

 

I have a pay monthly Vodafone SIM only contract already . I need a second number and a new phone.   

 

I am thinking of buying  iphone 12 from mobile.co.uk on a vodafone contract. once i have my phone, can i use either of my existing vodafone pay monthly SIM or the new SIM that I want as per my needs? 

Both will be vodafone numbers..

You can use your Vodafone sim cards in any phone that'll accept it.

i.e 

Unlocked or locked to Vodafone.
