Hey!
I recently moved to the uk and am still setting up omegle all kinds of things. When i tried to set up a contract with vodafone via their website, i received multiple errors. And in the chat an agent told me, they are not able to perform credit checks on starling bank accounts and are therefore not able to set up a contract for a customer that uses a starling bank account? Is this even legal?
I would have to use a high street bank account for that. xender
Did anyone have a similar experience or a way to solve this?
Thank you so much!

Hi @sarina
I notice you asked this question 6 months ago here: https://www.reddit.com/r/starlingbankuk/comments/q4lxu6/vodafone_pay_monthly_sim_card/
There is further information Vodafone require on this link with advise on how to appeal the credit check: Credit Checks
You shouldn't have any problem with a Starling account, they should be reporting to all credit reference agencies, if you have been in the country for over 6 months, you should have some previous UK credit history for Vodafone to base the check.

Bank accounts have nothing to do with credit checks. Starling Bank is a real Bank lol
I think the issue is that you used the Starling debit card to verify your identity? It's likely they are unable to verify your identity using the Starling debit card but I can't be sure!
