Vodafone advantage codes expiring 1 minute after receiving

Hi all. 

Me and my partner  have been trying to upgrade by using  Vodafone advantage discount codes. 

We both work for the NHS. We follow the instructions and get the codes and then within a minute the codes have expired. (as you can see with the pictures below) 

Between us we have tried 5 different codes. 

We have have contacted Twitter who said talk to webchat who didn't offer any solutions other than trying to sell products we didn't want so they advised us to talk to 191 who again informed us this was only doable online and advised us to talk to webchat who instructed us to go in store. Which we did to be told nope they can't add the discount  or offer any solutions. 

 

So can somebody please offer some rationale to why the 5 codes have been given that have instantly expired. And does anybody know what department I can ask for to resolve this issue? 

 

Fed up of being passed on with nobody offering any solutions you would think Vodafone would make this easy.

Hi @mandrews, it's disappointing to hear about your experience. It looks like one of our advisors has requested some account details on Twitter, if you could reply to the message with the information the team can continue with the conversation. 

This response feels very much the approach I've had so far which is passing the book on. 

 

My account has nothing to do with the issue of the Vodafone advantage website producing a discount code and then within a minute it expired. 

The reason we need access to your account @mandrews is so that if we are unable to rectify the issue ourselves, we can raise an escalation to the Vodafone Advantage team so that they can ensure your discount is added. As we have no account access on the Community, we need you to speak with the Social Media team so that this can be resolved. 

If you include a link to this thread, the team will be able to view the screenshots you have provided and they will be able to see what you have already done in order to get this issue sorted.
