Just curious as to when, if ever, Vodafone will enable support to send/receive SMS over WiFi.
I would like to have the option to use phone in airplane mode with WiFi calling on without fear of missing text messages.
EE are the only network to offer this currently?

To be fair, the iPhone 6s was released six years ago and you'd have to be using a 7+ year old iPhone for it not to work. You can't seriously expect Vodafone to implement new features on hardware thats 7-10 years old? You can pick up an iPhone 6s on eBay from £60 Cheaper than a new Sure Signal when they were in retail stores!

Just for ref. my second & last Sure Signal stopped working,
Red LEDs on so not the usual power failure I think VF have just disabled the service to me.
Typical VF care for their customers.
They do say being switched off by September 2021 & through the year but will write & text.
Of course I have had no letter or text, they simply switched off.
I do get bored of saying it but still surprises me how little they think of their customers
We rely on SMS for so many 2 step authorization, some warning would have been nice.
My SGS9+ (which is pristine so really don't want/need to upgrade) won't text.
Ordered my EE sim that will work, porting as soon as arrives.
I nearly did upgrade to a S21 but anything instead of VF & prepared to pay quite a lot more for the same contract on EE, just on principle.

We're keen to take a closer look into this for you @bignose2 - I've replied to your other post.

Wifi Calling works but SMS does not work on Galaxy S9, a relatively modern phone.
After all this time... Unbelievable. It worked on EE several years ago, long before the S9 was released.
You know we need this for 2FA on many websites, including yours. Come on Vodafone!
