Not the answer to the problem at hand unfortunately

Hi, @jimborae

If you're having problems with your Entertainment Pass, please get in touch on Social Media so we can access your account and take a deeper look into this.

Is there anybody in Vodafone that actually understands this common problem and can actually fix it as your Social Media teams can't? Furthermore using Social Media to try to correspond and correct this is issue is just an excercise in frustration.
Is there still a dedicated CEO Customer Service team in Vodafone, like there used to be, who I can contact?

I'm sorry to see you still haven't managed to resolve this @jimborae To escalate, I'd recommend raising the complaint with our Social team. Or you can raise it directly with our Complaints team

I’ve just gone through this too, after two months on Vodafone funnily enough. I never agreed to any two month trial or anything.

Anyway, after half a dozen security procedures, the X Vodafone responders fixed the issue for me by removing “the line” from my account to effectively reset things at the Vodafone end and add it back on again. This triggered the reselection of offer process which thankfully worked smoothly and my YouTube Premium was restored.

overall it took 1.5hr from first DM to getting it fixed.

27 minute wait from first DM to first response.

14 mins of security questions and waiting in between questions until I was handed to someone else who finally started the tech support or account management.

Was asked to confirm I had YouTube Premium before. Was asked to go to the Offers site and confirm that YouTube Premium was evidently not showing active. It showed as available to add to my plan for £12.99/mo.

I then noted that this is a known issue that can be seen in forum posts going back years. No admission of a known issue or anything. In fact the opposite. Denied there was any current issue. However this seemed to move things on to them trying to remove the line for YouTube on my account and put it back on again. Before they could confirm they’d finished, I was already getting the text to invite me to select my offer. The offer site worked as expected. Connect to my Google account. They warned Vodafone had been given access before. That was it. YouTube started reflecting the active membership again straight away.

Total of 30 minutes with this person later, it was fixed.

now I wait to see how long it lasts.

God I wish I was so lucky, apparently my case has been escalated, that was 4 days ago and I've heard nothing more from the X social media team. This is a complete farce and I now need to work out how to escalate things further.
