Zinc Debt Collection

Hello so I'm writing here as I genuinely don't know what to do. Vodafone and Zinc keep approaching me about payments I apparantly owe even though I closed down my account and have not used my phone since this March, I did refute them but was worried about what would happen if I didnt pay them. However after paying Zinc the guy on the phone I'm sure his name was Aron assured me there would be an email receipt detailing the payment, this happened last time when I was told I randomly owed them, can someone from Vodafone or Zinc please confirm that the debt has been cleared. Thank you.
