keep discount when changing packages

hi,  when I sign up I got a £2 promo discount for 24 months,  if I change mobile packages, does the discount change over to the new packages ?  or do I need to pay full price.

The discount that was originally applied would probably stop when you upgrade.

As the new upgrade takes over the old contract tariff entirely.

It's best practice to negotiate a new deal when upgrading @Anonymous 

All that said I also have seen posts on the flrim where the individual has managed to retain the original discount too but this may be an exception to the rule.
