Hi Guys,
I was wondering if anyone can help me out.
I've Galaxy S7 Edge phone on small business pay monthly account. I wanted to use other network SIM with this phone. When I insert other netowrk's SIM it prompts me to enter PUK
sim network pin blocked enter sim network puk
I've contacted Vodafone at least 4 times in past 2 months to get this issue resolved but still no one in their team has been able to figure out what to do.
FYI I haven't entered any incorrect SIM/Code or any other thing in phone or have done anything wrong with SIM.
And yes I've already tried that link where you request NUC and also a PUK was provided by their support on chat. None of these helped. I don' tneed NUC. I need them to unlock phone to be used with any other SIM. There is nothing wrong with other netowrk SIM either it works perfectly on other unlocked phone.
It's vodafone who have to unlock phone to let me use it with any other SIM. How on the Earth I communicate this to them so that they understand it and resolve my issue.
Any help?

Did send message on facebook as you suggested, was given link to normal webchat, webchat guy wouldnt read this thread and kept telling me useless next steps for a resolution. I have the previous owner/account holder's email with the copied reply from a Kim [Removed] at vodafone giving out the network unlock code, but your webchat guy wouldnt listen to any of this info.

@peanut2717 You shouldn't have been sent to our Live Chat team, so I've ensured this is fed back to prevent this from happening again.
If you're experiencing issues with the Network Unlock Code (NUC) we'd need the original owner to reach out to us so we can resolve this.
Alternatively you could use a Pay as you go SIM in the phone for 30 days before requesting a NUC from us.

But I have the NUC, confirmed correct by my local store, the issues in this thread are my stumbling block, that being the phone now states "sim network pin blocked enter sim network PUK", I entered both PUK codes given to me by my network provider, apparently more time than a sim will allow with no joy. My network provider then told me I would need a new sim to try again, so now armed with a new sim and 2x new PUK ive tried each number once with no success, i'm now unwilling to try again as I dont want to order yet another sim for this purpose. This thread I came to after all this and it would seem requires your intervention, not my current network provider.

With Samsung phones, you sometimes need to get a Master Unlock code; along with the NUC @peanut2717. This will be the additional code, that the phones asking you to input.
Have you used a Vodafone SIM in the phone at all? If not, you'll need to contact the original owner and ask them to get in touch with our NUC team, to ask for the extra code.

21/10 1151am, tech guy on that number claims after asking 2 tech managers that he cannot do this and I need to contact samsung to ask for the code. why are all your depts telling me different things but nobody is resolving this?
Samsung was one of the first calls i made to try to fix this, today their tech team leader confirmed that there is no additional code that their dept can give me and if there was an additional code it would be provided from head office following a request from the network provider. you!
This is the email forwarded to me by the original owner of the phone following his request for the NUC:-
You recently asked us to unlock your Samsung device so you can use it on another network. Samsung have reconfirmed the network unlocking code for the device with the IMEI number 3********3. They’ve provided a new unlocking code and Master Code for your device, which you’ll find below:
Network Unlocking Code: 3******9
Master Code:Sent to Manufacturer
How to use the codes
1. Insert a non-Vodafone SIM into your device
2. Turn on your device – it should now prompt you for an unlocking code
3. Enter your Master Code (or MCK) and select ‘Unlock’. Your device should now display
the message ‘Network unlock request unsuccessful’
4. Enter your Network Unlocking Code and select ‘Unlock’. Your device should now
display the message ‘Network unlock successful’
This never worked as you didnt provide the master code, only typed in "sent to manufacturer"
Please put me in direct contact with a named individual that can definately help with this as your random advisors seem to be underqualified to assist.
Many thanks

So the team you've spoken with know about the Master Code @peanut2717, as they've included it in the email; just not provided it. The trouble we'll have if you contact our team is that we'll need to speak to the account holder for the phone directly, to complete security and discuss the account at all.
You can find more information on getting in touch via out social channels here. If you could provide the previous account holders details there, we could try getting in contact.
Please also provide a link to this thread, along with your username; this will save time and we’ll be able to help you quicker.

Hi,
We've been having this same problem for months now with a Galaxy S8. Called customer services several times, called 3, been in to the shop and also spoken to Samsung. Currently on with customer services again and its like I'm speaking to them in a different language. Very frustrating. Please help.
