sim network pin blocked enter sim network puk

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone can help me out.

I've Galaxy S7 Edge phone on small business pay monthly account. I wanted to use other network SIM with this phone. When I insert other netowrk's SIM it prompts me to enter PUK

sim network pin blocked enter sim network puk

I've contacted Vodafone at least 4 times in past 2 months to get this issue resolved but still no one in their team has been able to figure out what to do.

FYI I haven't entered any incorrect SIM/Code or any other thing in phone or have done anything wrong with SIM.

And yes I've already tried that link where you request NUC and also a PUK was provided by their support on chat. None of these helped. I don' tneed NUC. I need them to unlock phone to be used with any other SIM. There is nothing wrong with other netowrk SIM either it works perfectly on other unlocked phone.

It's vodafone who have to unlock phone to let me use it with any other SIM. How on the Earth I communicate this to them so that they understand it and resolve my issue.

Any help?

Thanks @Dicko5114 - I can confirm that we've received your email. We'll be in touch as soon as possible to help.

It's 2023, the same issue reported years ago "SIM network PIN blocked. Enter SIM network PUK" is still bothering people. I have been experiencing this issue for weeks. SIM card provider said to liaise with Vodafone, Vodafone asked me to liaise with SIM card provider.

I entered four different codes provided by Vodafone customer service teams, the end results were the same "Network unlock request unsuccessful".

I even referred to posts about this issues floating online. I asked for a "master code", apparently issues were escalated (to who? no idea).

Maybe the online team can resolve this for me quickly??

Hi @Mosaic 👋 I'm sorry to see you're facing this issue. We will need to look over your account so we can check what codes have been provided. If an MCK is requested we do this through the manufacturer. If you can please reach out to the social team via the details in this link and we will look into this further for you.

I've got the exact same issue. So frustrating. Been without a phone for days now. Did you get sorted and how?

Exact same issue.....

can an you please provide details how to get master code reset as seems a bit daft everyone is struggling with the same fault.

Phone asking for PUK number even though the SIM card works in other phones and it’s just when any other network sim is put in the phone.

Requested NUC number but need the phone to request this rather than asking for PUK??

please help. Thank you

@Leanne27 I'm sorry for any inconvenience that's been caused by this. If you enter an incorrect SIM PIN three times, your phone will lock. To unlock this, you'll need to enter a PUK. So we're able to help you further with this, I've sent you a private message with details on how to get in touch with us.

Hi thanks for the advice but the Sun cards work in other phones and it only asks for a PUK when ANY other network sim is installed. They all work when put into another phone so can’t be locked.

i have replied to the private message.

Thanks.

I certainly understand how unsatisfying this must be for you @Leanne27. So we're able to take a closer look into this, did you get in touch with us via the details I provided in the private message? If so, you should have received an automated email with a reference number, which looks something like this [#12345678]. Can you please confirm this back to us? We'll then be able to see if we've received your details 🙂
