vodafone scammers read all please

i have been in contact with the rude people also at vodafone regarding deadlock letter as they say my internet is correct via www.speedtest.net who vodafone works along side to get great results

however my problem still persists i checked with other spped tests online and found i was not getting the speed they insisted i have since been on calls for 2 and 3 hours every day this week to get my deadlock letter as they say i will get a call back i have to call myself everyday regarding this they gave me ref but still nothing absolutely rude pass me from department to department all week my ref: <removed> so vodafone know now i am not messing about other people should also test the correct speed they get via  https://www.gci.com/speedtest witch does bring up accurate results 13/11/2020 today been on phone again over 4 hours no deadline letter asked all departments and still no fix also i will make it clear it is illegal to hold deadlock letter from clients and i will have now to go to the police for crime ref no to supply vodafone as they are now committing a criminal offence thank you imran please feel free to call me vodafone as i am still awaiting your superior supervisor to call me back as prommised i also got a text message from vodafone they would call me back within 2 hours again still no call SO PLEASE BE AWARE OF VODAFONE SCAM WORKING ALONG SIDE SPEEDTEST.NET TO GET FAKE RESULTS I PROVED IT IN SCREEN SHOTS AND SENT TO VODAFONE AND STILL NO RESPONSE 1ST TEAM , 2ND TEAM , AND 3RD TEAM ALL AWARE  thank you

There are many reasons why a speed test won't give you what you think you should be getting.   The first thing is that you should ideally be doing the test on a device connected by ethernet cable to the router - wifi will almost always be slower.   You should also make sure that other devices are disconnected as they will absorb bandwidth - this includes smart TVs and dongles (Chromecast, Firestick etc).

The only true reliable test is line speed, which you can't do.   If the speed supplied is as advised, then it's correct and I'm afraid anything less will be due to your environment unless there's an actual fault with the router, which presumably has been checked and elimininated.   Speed tests on wifi should always be conducted close to the router and allowance made for the maximum speed the device and wifi protocol can accomodate.

I also assume that a line fault has been ruled out?   I've just had an issue with that.  It was intermittent and the speed tested OK when an engineer was present, but could be noisy at other times, causing drop-outs.  I persisted and the fault was eventually located at one of the external junctions and fixed.   You can test for noise by plugging a phone into the master socket and listening for a clear dial tone.

Hi @imran1982, thanks for your message. The sites that you've included will measure your throughput speed to the device rather than the sync speed that we go off for our tests. From your reference number, this looks like the issue has already been escalated and the correct team will be working on your ticket / complaint.

i asked for until something is done i will keep posting in your forums i wish for you not to rip other people off like yous are doing to me 

Not just that one many others come up with simlar speeds but not speedtest.net also I know my speed is slow I use it I know that's why I want it fixed I also wanted deadlock letter but you guys will not send it to me you do know it is illegal to hold that letter from me
