Obtaining MCK code

Having spent almost three months and hours on telephone and online chat, all of which promised to resolve the issue, I still cannot unlock my phone. I have the NUC - which hasn't worked. I need the MCK code as the phone is frozen. One advisor said he was requesting it and I should have it within 48 hrs but a week later another advisor said to contact the nucresolutions team - the email just refers to the online form to request NUC code which I already have. The phone is bought and paid for and I want to pass it on to a friend. HELP PLEASE!!!!

Thanks for providing your username @Dan3003003. I've search both Twitter and Facebook and I'm unable to locate a conversation containing any of these details. If you can pop us a message via Facebook at Vodafone UK, or on Twitter using the handle @VodafoneUK we'll be happy to look into requesting a MCK for you.

3 months is 12 weeks.

Did you keep all your communication?

You can use this forum as a transcript:

This provider has 8 weeks to respond:

Time to lodge a complaint.

I can't be bothered, I was promised the codes in 10 days, that was on the 27th March. These companies are just full of promises when it comes to contract renewals and after that you are nothing. I wont be staying with them after this contract ends that's for sure.

Hello! I'm writing this nonsense to you guys knowing already you won't help me.

The matter in question is about network unlocking my samsung galaxy s10 device
I requested a NUC code but "unfortunately" I was provided with a wrong/useless one.
My phone unlocking procedure is now frozen, requesting a MCK/DEFREEZE code.
Now comes the not so fun part. I'm constantly trying to get the MCK/master code key for THE PAST 6 MONTHS
Every time I call Vodafone I get answers like this:
- I don't know what a MCK code is
- samsung has the code, not us
- I will help you and get the code in 2 days
I was keep getting the same NUC code for 5 times now when specifically told them I need the MCK one
After 6 months of trying I'm hopeless and going to pursue this legally if the matter is not resolved within a week.
Is my right as a customer and it's illegal on your side not to help the customers.
Thank you but no thank you!
