Please help...I've been call\chat\messenger Vodafone for 4 days now.
I was trying to use my GiffGaff sim card and it asked for a PIN that I hadn't.
After 3 attempts I've been asked for the PUK in the subject. I contacted GiffGaff and they gave me 2 PUKs which didn't work.
Then I tried a Three sim card and I had the same message.
I filled the form for a NUC code as an advisor told me to do so, but it was useless.
I have now spent hours and hours of research and phone calls with clueless Vodafone call centre people, who are unable too help with this issue and the last guy laughed at me too!!!
Even spoke with Samsung who assure me it is a master code I need off Vodafone.
Apparently on a youtube video I can see I need a Master code or "freeze" code, but as soon as I mention this to Vodafone, they go on a loop saying "ask the PUK code to the other provider"...I'm honestly tired of this!
Just do your job and help me, thank you!

I sent a message with attachmentes and explanation to Vodafone Messenger but I get the same answers: ask the other provider to PUK code.......but that's not the problem!

A PUK code is a master code that is used to unlock a SIM card that was locked after a user has incorrectly entered a SIM pin 3 times in a row...
What you're trying to do is unlock your handset for use on another network. That requires a NUC code and as you found out, a Samsung handset requires an additional master code. Goodluck getting that from Vodafone because so far, every post that mentioned this has failed to obtain one!

@SilverClaw I can see you've mentioned you're already speaking with us over Facebook messenger. I've not been able to track down your message to us - please include your Community username and link to your post from the thread here.
I can then make sure our advisers escalate this to our unlocking team so we can provide you with the mastercode, as this should be the process we follow. I'll then feed the experience and advice you've previously been given back to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Um having the same problem just keeps saying the same thing and keeps getting the same from customer service the need to get hold of samsung and samsung say it's not them its Vodafone

Hello,
It's been 3 weeks since I wrote to the cs on messenger and I still haven't received the code........
The last person who said was going to gove me the code in 10 working days is Iona.
Still no answer....
