Using a talkmobile sim in a locked Vodafone handset

Hello, I am looking at buying a second hand phone and currently have a talkmobile sim only plan. Talkmobile is a budget spinoff of Vodafone. On talkmobile website they say this

Can I use my current phone with a SIM-only plan?

You’ll be able to use a SIM Only plan with your current phone if it’s a Talkmobile phone,
from Vodafone or is an unlocked phone. You can find instructions on how to unlock your phone here.

I tried to get a definitive answer from talkmobile and Vodafone but to no avail. Does anyone know or have done this before

Hi @Geoff01 

Talk mobile is owned by and is part of Vodafone. You won't have any problems using a talk mobile SIM in a phone locked to Vodafone.
