I keep getting texts to tell me that voicemail has no new messages. I have visual VM set up so really don't need the texts.
I've tried to turn it off in the VM settings but I only have the option to select it, not to deselect.

If your finding no help in the settings or the support page How-do-I-set-up-and-manage-my-voicemail. then customer services via 191, Live Chat or the Vodafone Social Media Team's via mContact-us-for-account-specific-queries will be able to advise and help.

Thanks for trying all of that troubleshooting @Kev1049 I know how frustrating it is to keep trying different things to no avail.
Fortunately we have had an update and we can now manually switch off these notifications for you! All you need to do is pop your number over to the Social Media team here and we can get this raised. It takes 24 - 48 hours for the messages to stop and the team will monitor the number whilst the work is being completed 🙂

Voicemail has no new messages. Please dial 121 or +447836121121
Still not resolved.. started when arrived in Majorca. Added number to contacts then blocked.. does not work,
Message every morning.
Please find a solution that allows me to block.

@Lowe-Andrew - I'm sorry for any frustration this may be causing. My team can look at the Voicemail notifications from our side. Please get in touch with us through Social Media.

You can probably see from this thread that I have spent hours on this and tried everything. I gave up on the end and will be cancelling my Vodafone contract as soon as I am able to.

Hey @JGunion, if you've been unable ot find a solution is the guide @BandOfBrothers posted, pleas try following these steps:
Dial 121
Option 1 - main menu
Option 4 - mailbox settings
Option 3 - message Alerts
Option 5 - slamdown notification
Option 3 - disable slamdown notification

This does not stop the daily voicemail texts saying you have no new voicemail messages
