My wife and I are traveling from the US to Ireland in October for the month. I'm trying to get some info on eSIMs. My current phone has a US Verizon physical sim. I'd like to add an Irish eSIM - data only is fine, but a phone number is fine too. https://omegle.onl/
My question: If I purchase an Irish eSIM, turn off international roaming on my US-based SIM, but turn on WiFi calling on the Irish SIM, will I be able to receive calls in Ireland on my American number? Additionally, iMessages? Ie, will the data pulled from the Irish eSIM work on the US number?
At this point, I'm confusing myself so I hope this question makes sense.

Hey @khogawani I hope you are well!
Just so we are on the same page, are you wanting to have 2 SIMs; one physical and one electronic linked with the same mobile number?

Did you ask the same question with a different user name here @khogawani https://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Android/Vodafone-eSIM-for-Ireland-still-using-US-number/m-p/2714572#...
