Hi, I am thinking of moving to Vodafone but have a 3 handset. Will my 3 handset give me wifi calling on Vodafone?

If the phone has been unlocked, you shouldn't have any problems @ggr.

The S9 plus is on the list for data calling without SMS here: Data Calling , the only thing you should need to do is to ask live chat or Customer Services to send the S9 plus WiFi calling profile to your phone.  You also have help from the Social Team here Contact Us

I rather think that, if you have wifi calling enabled on your account (which may happen by default), the phone should get the appropriate settings at the same time as it downloads the APNs for data.   My wife has a Sony L3, which was bought SIM free and that got the service as soon as it was set up.

If that doesn't happen, follow the advice from @AnnS.
