I was due an upgrade last month, finally remembered and logged into Vodafone on my new laptop. Message telling me that I need the account holder's permission to see what is available. But I AM the account holder!

Can you try clearing your Browsers Cache and Data and try again and kr try another browser.
If no joy then My suggestion @Doris1952 would be to either phone customer service on 191 or Live Chat to have your account checked and process the upgrade while engaged with them or pop into a Vodafone High street Store to upgrade

I *think* it maybe because I missed a text message from Vodafone while I was using the computer, it had a code to enter within 20 minutes
