Adding new number to sure signal

Hi. I added a new number to my sure start box. The phone recieved a text to say it was connected to the box. But the phone has had no signal all week. Ive tried turning the phone off and on etc but still nothing. Any ideas??

In the first instance I recommend removing then adding this user.

Hi, ive tried this. I was sent the text message again. Tried turning the phone off and on but stil no signal.

With the new phone you’re trying to add, is the 3G activated on the device?

Hi, yes its on. Its connected to the wifi while using the singal box.

This is a strange situation.

 

You have to be a Vodafone customer, to be able to use Sure Signal.

 

If the number is using our network, but it's supplied, for example by a supermarket as their own, then it won't work.

I got the phone through phones 4 u. My last phone was also phones for you and had no problems before. I no longer need the old number on there. Is it possible to change the original number so the box is just registered to my new number??

Yes, this is fine. You’ll just need to deregister the Sure Signal and then re-register it, under the new number.
