Android nougat update for sony z5 premium

Hi,

 Sony has officially released  Android nougat update  for z5 premium devicces since 10th January . Does anybody know if vodafone is going to release the updates for its customers?

Hi

Typically Vodafone would be sent a firmware for them to test for their branded phones. Ie phones supplied directly by Vodafone on a contract or payg. 

Then send it back and then it would be sent by the manufacturer to any eligible phone model. 

Vodafone themselves wouldn't comment on when a firmware will be pushed out as.per their statement here > Vodafone Firmware Statement.

A phone purchased directly from the manufacturer which is sim free and unbranded would have the firmware sent directly to it from the manufacturer. Unfortunately again a manufacturer wouldn't typically advise on an exact date but only that firmwares are sent out in batches / waves. 

I'm waiting for the Nougat firmware on my Unbranded s7 edge. 

Best practice is to keep checking your phones software update section on its settings.
