Just received my new iPhone 7 on contract, got it 2 days ago. However I think I’d rather have the plus version, can I swap to the plus? I know the contract monthly costs will be more because of a more expensive phone, but are there any other costs involved? I have been using the 7 for the past 2 days now

You have a 14-day cooling-off period during which you can return the phone and terminate the contract without penalty. Having done that, you could then start again with the 7+ this time. This will be MUCH easier if you acquired it from a Vodafone shop. However if you bought it online you will have to return it in the same way it arrived, which is going to involve phone calls, "return packs", possibly couriers, trying to establish that Vodafone have actually received the return, getting the contract reverted/cancelled, and so on as documented many times in these pages. Good luck with that one.

Hello @Mattwait
Vodafone Uk gives a 30 day Cooling Off Period.
Return the phone and any included accessories but keep the SIM card back to Vodafone and they’ll book it back in and then after a short time your account will return to Pre Upgrade Status.
Then you can start again.
You would be charged for any allowances used.

You need to call 191 and ask fro Returns. They will arrange for collection and revert your contract back to what it was. Once that is done, you can order whatever you want.
You could ask if they can do a swap. If they agree, then when your new phone is delivered the old will be collected at the same time.
