Can someone take a contract out under their own name as soon as they turn 18?

As long as they can pass the credit check, yes they can.

But will you have "credit" to be checked cause she wants it on the day of her 18th birthday.. And do you have to have a job or anything??😁

Your best bet is to go into a Vodafone store on the day she wants to phone and see what they say.

A job in itself isn't a pre-requisite but, from a practical perspective, how will the contract be financed if she doesn't have a job?
