Default Shown On Experian.com

I did a credit check for the first time ever the other day for free I was cleaar apart from a default debt from way back in 2012 for over £287?

But when i questioned Vodaphone customer services about it and spent around half an hour waiting they said sorry but that deafault on that address doesnt exsist. Now thats my mums address and i lived there at the time but mum told me ten mins ago that was already paid.

So why hasnt it been taken off Experian.com as its clouding my credit score?

You see I've only just come out of a battle with Vodaphone with the Ombudsman and gained compo for the problem only to find out there's yet again another problem and you cant even find it, telling me it doesnt exsist and all Experian tells you to do is if theres a problem to contact the compaany, which i have and got told its not there.

Thank you for your time Vodafone.

If a default was warranted then it would still remain on the credit file for 6 years even when paid off.

It would change status from Outstanding to Settled.

Let the Team here catch up with your thread and I'm sure they will help you with this situation.

There is no status on thisit just shows default, no outstanding no nothing.

So I have to wait another year to even find out if its been removed, which knowing the past of Vodafone and the battle Ive just won it more than likely will be still there..... not to mention other forums with exactly the same issue.

Think i might contact some places to find out about this account that doesnt exsist according to Vodafone.

Thank you for replying.

You're welcome for my reply.

Please let the Vodafone Team here catch up with your thread and I'm sure and help.

In the interim you could contact experian and ask to add a Notice of Correction.
