Hmmm, how strange
. I know that this isn't a problem that affects all Mobile Broadband users, as I've been able to use this myself on a Vodafone Mobile Broadband connection. I suspect that this may be caused by the optimisation settings in the VMC (Vodafone Mobile Connect) software.
In order to rectify this I would firstly recommend downloading the latest version of VMC from this link:
VMC version 9.4.6. That may resolve the issue without the need to have to do anything else, if it doesn't though you'll just need to disable optimisation as follows:
Press Start
Select Control Panel.
Select classic view from the left hand side.
Select add and remove programs(XP)/Programs and Features(Vista).
Select Vodafone Mobile Connect and choose Change.
Select modify.
When presented with a choice between standard and custom, select custom.
Remove the selection for optimization.
Install as normal.
