Hi I been trying to find out why the high fiber connection charge??
All I was told it's what openreach charge Vodafone, this is not true because openreach charge Vodafone and other companies £9 to transfer a fiber line over.
I will be putting in a complaint because I want this charge broken down and explained in detail as a clear pricing.
Also I can understand why some companies don't charge this fee.

@dannylee1980 The BT Openreach price list is available online here. As far as i'm aware moving to Vodafone requires a "PCP Only install" (engineer visits the cabinet only) which is currently priced at £49.
Vodafone have obviously chosen to add the whole cost on to the customer. other ISP's may choose to cover some of the cost themselves which is why some may appear cheaper.

That's correct but in the case of a same service transfer they don't need to do an install look at the service transfer price.
This is the prices for service transfers.
