Hi @ethanairlines

The latest update is in the process of being rolled out. If there’s an update ready, this’ll be available in your phone settings.

Thanks,

Jamian

do you know how long i will have to wait for the update and also will the update come OTA??

Hi,

Is there any reason why over a week after the update was made avalable in the UK that some people have recieved the update and others have not?

Thanks

Where does it say is has been released in the UK?

From what I am reading on line it comes with its bugs and errors. S5 and S4

I updated my S4 today OTA and I'm experiencing TouchWhiz crashes when I try and move icons around the screens. I'm currently in the process of doing a full backup and factory reset to see if this gets rid of the issue.

Has anyone else had any problems upgrading?

Hi everyone,

All the information we have available around firmware can be seen on our statement.

@FourGee

It is recommended to do a reset after any update as this will complete the process.

To address some of the comments about availability of updates, my S4 was delivered on the launch date, and doesn’t have any Vodafone software on it at all! :Smiling: So I guess as its unbranded I got an update quicker?!

With regards to TouchWhiz crashing, the factory reset got rid of the problems I was experiencing, and it runs fine now.

I'm liking Lollipop alhough it took me a while to get used to where things were. I particularly like the ability to respond to WhatsApp messages from the notification panel rather than going into the app itself.

In kitKat you were able to add exceptions for blocking mode, but with Lollipop I can only have exceptions by making the contact a favourite – is that right?

Also, I want to change WhatsApp vibrate mode from standard buzz but I can’t see where I need to do this. Can anyone help with this?
