Galaxy S8+ preorder

Hi peeps, I have S8 on a preorder and was wondering how good Vodafone actually is with fullfilling preorders. Promise of "get it 8 days early"(I know it's just a marketing spin) means it should be here on the 20th. Who else is waiting for a delivery?

You lucky so and so.  

What I generally find is that supply and demand can falter on iPhone launches but not so much with other makes. That said I think the 8 days early offer isn't guaranteed and is subject to availability. 

Keep checking both your normal email In box and Spam email in box for emails from Vodafone.

I get this quite a lot lately haha. Yes, it's even in T's&C's, 8. This offer is subject to availability and while stocks last.

After a quick chatter with live chat team, "I have nothing to worry about, phone will be despatched tomorrow"...fingers crossed, I'm honeslty sick of using a courtesy phone since middle of march...

Apprently, people who ordered their handsets directly from Samsung should get their phones on wednesday...

Add me to that list. For now, anyway. However, I'm seeing on Twitter (from Vodafone UK) such things as: "unfortunately due to stock restrictions delivery will be on or after 28 April". If that's the case, I'll be cancelling and going elsewhere, I'm out of my contract anyway.

Seriously? After the Note 7 fun ive been holding out for the s8. Hopefully the restrictions wont apply to those that preordered in good time.

So may be no S8 for me on Thursday even though it still says Thursday the 20th on there web site T & C 's (if it does not come on that date does that mean vodafone have broke the T & C's)?

I don't know about terms and conditions but I would of thought there would be be a caveat in there some were 

Things can happen that Vodafone have no control over 

The up side is you will be one of the first to get them when they do arrive.

Hi all,

If you've pre-ordered the Samsung S8 before 12 April, it will be delivered 8 days early (20/04/2017). All orders after this date, will be on or after the 28 April depending on stock.

As for the S8+, there aren't any concerns yet, but this is still subject to availability.

Let me know if you have any other queries.
