Galaxy S8+ preorder

Hi peeps, I have S8 on a preorder and was wondering how good Vodafone actually is with fullfilling preorders. Promise of "get it 8 days early"(I know it's just a marketing spin) means it should be here on the 20th. Who else is waiting for a delivery?

Got my S8 this morning.  So far really liking it.  As others have said, FPS is fine, I've not touched the camera once.  Probably prefer to use face unlock though as that seems lightening quick and im not too bothered about how secure it is, really.  Iris scanner basically doesn't work for me for some reason.  Worked far better on my beloved Note 7 (RIP)!  No red tint but I did turn down the red scale on screen color options to 0, I prefer a brighter white screen.  Looking at it beside an S7 Edge, the edge looks very red compared to mine, so I reckon everyone should do this, to be honest.  The only drawback I've got is that it seems quite small coming from S7 edge. I'm wondering if I should have got a +.  But then the whole screen is easily accessible on this so maybe best with this.  I'll prob have a hold of a + in a shop, see what I think!  Battery seems to be dropping like a stone, but then it's been on solid since 10am!! 😂

SORRY to put this but if you Google s8 red tint problems in Korea you will find a load of info but remember when I read this Samsung were aware of it and dealing with it and any one who wanted to swap could do 

So if there is a problem at least they have acknowledged it but that is Samsung 

Vodafone will save there own terms and I bet the Korean ones have different hardware than the European ones and I personally think they will already of corrected the problem 

They have to much riding on this

After the note7 they are aware they need to put confidence back in the brand. And I've read loads of English reviews and they all say it is something special.

I'm gutted I missed out on 2 months but I got an s7 edge for a top deal and a free gear fit 2 which is amazing little piece of kit ist self and enhances my s7 edge so i would love to see how good it would be on an s8

They stated that anyone who ordered before 12th April would get the early delivery.  If you ordered after this then it'll be the 28th.  If you ordered later then 20th it'll be between 28th April and 5th May.

I ordered on 19th and have been told I'll have it on Friday.

Well they're talking nonsense.  I ordered 16th April and got it on the 21st.

Well this is the last post for awhile from me.

Finally got someone from Vodafone to be honest.

I will be raising a formal complaint as directed by the Customer Service team. The ineptitude and mismanagement of my upgrade is laughable. I'm out of pocket, wasted hours of time chasing calls.

What is the point in vodafone telling us to check the tracker?!?!? It never updates so is completely useless. My last upgrade is still in the tracker and to this day it's never changed status.  Plus the phones won't be dispatched yet anyway.  It's just an easy way to fob someone off.

My new tariff switched over today!! Given I was told that wouldn't happen till I got the phone I'm hoping it'll mean it's coming tomorrow!! No tracking info yet tho!
