Galaxy S8+ preorder

Hi peeps, I have S8 on a preorder and was wondering how good Vodafone actually is with fullfilling preorders. Promise of "get it 8 days early"(I know it's just a marketing spin) means it should be here on the 20th. Who else is waiting for a delivery?

Still waiting for my S8+ ordered on 6th April. Hopefully get it tomorrow, if the store has remembered to order the handset this time!

I suppose in the long run a weeks delay doesn't really matter, but it's really anoying when the bloke that sits next to me at work spends three weeks trying to make up his mind and talking endlessly about it, then finally orders  on the 19th and gets the phone on the 20th form the same store that i ordered  from.

I'm halfway through my formal complaint procedure but within 24 hours of my first call with that team I've now received my handset...... Failures in process is numerous for me but essentially the first order never went through.... The problem for anyone still waiting is that for the past 28 days no-one from the first line customer service team (191) could see that or if they could see that issue didnt let me know (actually the very opposite) and rectify the situation.

The phone is charging and I'm very excited to start using it

Getting my phone replaced after a day....something with the screen (not "red screen"). I need to admit bloke from vodafone CS was brilliant and sorted out new handset to be sent out directly from samsung within few days (provided me with an order number etc).  Oh well...

O dear that sucks! What was the issue?  I'm glad Vodafone sorted it quickly though, nice to see.

quite thick black line coming up on the screen between volume and power buttons for a second when I hold it in my hand and tilt it. It's very dissapointing(for a phone that expensive) but at least it took no more than 5mins to get a new handset on an order, point for vodafone.

The Gaxaly S8 is not getting disptached until Friday 28 as Samsung has not delivered any to Vodafone yet as they have stocking problems..

As i have phone to enquire where my phone is. and got told no body got there yet..

And wont until Friday 28 at earliest. Thats if they get a delivery

I got told this by Vodafone when I rang on 19th to enquire about whether I would be getting my delivery on 20th.

I contacted Samsung and they told me they'd had no issues with stock and had dispatched all their devices.

I spoke to someone else from Vodafone on the afternoon of 19th and told them i wanted my early upgrade fee refunded if i didnt get my order. They put me on hold and  then told me i would definitely have a device. Got my S8 delivered yesterday morning by DPD.

Sorry but I think you have been lied to as I know a couple of people on vodafone that received theirs yesterday. But they didn't have nowhere near enough stock to fulfil the pre order demand.
