My HTC One has for the last few weeks been showing an update available (4.19.161.11) which consistantly fails with the error Download Unsuccessful.
Can somebody tell me what is the official Vodafone software version? And what's going on with the failed upgrade?
Current s/w info :
Android Version 4.3
Sense 5.5
Software No 3.63.161.6
thanks in advance

I've sorted it! :cathappy:
Settings > App > All (Tab) > Updater
- Choose Force Stop
- Clear Cache and Data
Then, tried again. Downloading now.

Yes, wifi is strong. Have tried it on different networks to rule that out too.
I haven't tried the HTC software, will give it a go. Thanks for the suggestion.

Sorry for the lack of update, have only just got round to trying this.
To update via HTC Sync (I assume this is what you referred to) do I need to download the Kernal Source Code from here : http://www.htcdev.com/devcenter/downloads ? (Isn't this just Sense anyway)
If not, what do I do now, as the s/w doesnt show any obvious way of updating? I'm confused!

Great you have got it sorted... :smileywink:
Here is the info you requested in case someone else needs it?
Use HTC SYNC Manager to update Firmware:

Thank you for posting this fix. It's been bugging me for week. I've tried via HTC Sync Manager which displayed no options for updating.
