Had my G5 since April so obviously outside the 30 day return period - if I have to send it back will I have to do without a phone? Anyone know what the average turnaround time is?
Phone has many issues - first started thinking it was plugged into a computer when it wasn't, then the GPS wouldn't connect and the final straw is not the power button has stopped working!

You would probably have better support contacting LG direct for accessment and arranging a repair. There is a 24 month warranty on the phone, and if it turns out to be a manufacturing defect, you will receive a free repair.

If this was my phone if turning it off and on does not help then I'd create a back up and factory reset.
If eligible then Vodafone offer loan phones while they send off the owners if they have one in stock.
Turn around is is dependant on the issue.

Please be aware the manufacturing Warranty does not cover issues resulting from a drop or water damage.
My preference would be to approach the manufacturer uk online support site first as they know their hardware and software better than a repair house.

Just to confirm: unless you have a plan or insurance that includes a loan device, yes, you will be without your phone. Turnround times vary depending on the work in hand, what has to be done and availability of any spare parts required.
The usual advice is to buy a cheap/basic PAYG device to tide you over. You can use your PAYM SIM in it and the cost is often less than a year's insurance.
