After fining out I've been paying for two insurance policies for the last year Vodafone have said they will credit my account. Does this mean it will go into my bank account and how long does it take?

Probably not.  Vodafone are extremely reluctant to part with actual, real money so it is far more likely that they meant they will credit your Vodafone account - keep an eye on it.  As for timing, they may do it quickly or you may need to remind them repeatedly for several weeks, it is impossible to predict.

If you were paying for two insurance policies, this should have been itemised on your bill with the monthly charge and queried by yourself before leaving it for a year.

 

However, if Vodafone have agreed to refund some or all of the premiums, the credit will generally go to your Vodafone account.
