My Mail,

Have got the app My Mail and want to add my Plusnet address to it, I go to 'Other Mail' put in my email address and the correct password , press sign in, and it just keeps going round saying 'Something wrong' trying to conect' then it ends 'Unable to process request, Check data and try again'

Is it not possable to add a Plusnet address??? or am I doing somthing wrong.

Hi. This sounds like a plusnet/my mail problem perhaps you should try contacting either of those organisations.

Setting up email can be complicated.   There are various settings and my first call would be PlusNet, who'd be able to confirm the correct details  - there may even be a guide on their website.  If there isn't anything specific to your particular app, try the generic Android one if there is one, or the one for MS Outlook.   The security setting is the one that most often causes trouble, so experiment with the options available - though SLS/TLS is probably the one to go for first.  Port numbers can cause issues too, though most services use the default.

I suspect the reason you didn't get an immediate response is that you posted in the evening when there are fewer people around.   This is a forum, not an IM service :smileywink:.

Just read somewhere about it could be Sercurity Settings, had a look at mine, I go Settings/ Security/and where it says 'Unknown sources, I have mine un-mark/no colour,

would that make any differance if I changed that??

I haven't come across that as an option, but yes, experiment with all the available options and see if one of them gets it working.   If not, we'll have to think of something else.
