Hi

Sometimes unplugging the Sure Signal for a few hours and then turn back on can help to reset it.

Current Phone  >

Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra 512gb Phantom Black.

Wish I could help but I have the same problem. Previously Vodafone have lost the stored number configuration and I've had to re-enter them. This time I can't get into the web page to check that as the system is down. I get a cutesy message instead of any real information.

Sure Signal still out of action. Still waiting for a response from Vodafone.

This is why I don't take out contracts with service providers. When their service hits rock bottom -> Switch.

Hi,

Me too! I recently changed ISP so followed the instructions including de-auth, re-auth, reset. Now the most delicate piece of networking equipment I have ever come across won't work - namely the infamous Sure Signal v3!

The SSv3 has all of the right lights (solid red, solid white x 2). Once or twice I have seen the third white but no calls completed! However, usually no 3G signal. Two phones used to work. Not any more.

Anyone on the Vodafone team got any ideas?

(All IP connectivity good and 50mb of bandwidth)

My Sure Signal is magically working now, for incoming and outgoing calls.

No thanks to Vodafone support.

What I don't understand is why have Vodafone people on this forum if they don't help out in a timely way? Wouldn't it just be better all round for customers to call 191 or chat with Vodafone support rather than waste time waiting on this forum for non-response from Vodafone?

Lucky you!! I am jealous

Vodafone "support" is so frustrating isn't it.

Forums: never any useful replies just FAQs and "have you tried turning it off and on again"

Telephone: Spend 10 minutes going through all the easy basics before "oh I need to escalate to level 3....hold on....oh they have gone home"

Oh well, another weekend without any mobile phone coverage.

Welcome to Vodafone Business networking

Maybe one day they will get with this whole Internet thing and offer online support?

And don't get me going on their 'new' 2-factor security that needs (guess what) mobile phone coverage - oh the irony

@olaflauder We're glad to hear you're now up and running. Sorry it took a while to get there.

@stinky_bob Please let us know your Sure Signal serial number so we can look into this from our end.

Thanks for the offer:

Update is that one phone is now working, but not the other two.

iPhone (main account) working.

Two Blackberries (added users) not working

I've tried removing and adding the blackberries but nothing.

They are different models and both worked before the change of ISP.
