Hi duracell07
It's a shame to hear your still having problems with your 3G connection.
I've had another look at out
Coverage Map and with the postcode you've provided it does suggest that you should have really strong 3G connection.
There's a few things I would like you to try if you can to help get more information.
- Can you try your SIM from the dongle in a handset to see if you get 3G signal?
- Try your modem in another part of your house, does the signal or speed improve at all?
- Also where the dongle is currently located, can you use a cable to extend the device a bit further away from your computer?
The answers to this should help to identify where the problem lies, whether its the device, the SIM or the Network itself. If it's the SIM we can organise a replacement for you, and if it's the device we can get this fixed under the
Warranty Repair process.
I would also suggest trying the modem outside of your house if you get the chance to, again this can help us to pin point where things are going wrong.
Let us know how you get on
Helen
