No Data Connection

Post Title: CH49

1) Does the issue happen in just one location? If so, how far do you have to travel to regain service? I've travelled in an approx 2hr radius from the below post cod and have no data connection at all

2) What is the full postcode (e.g. ST1 1AA) of where the issue occurs? CH49 4QD

3) Does the issue occur if you try your SIM card in a different phone? Can't try this, no other devise to try. Can make calls still so assume not SIM

4) What errors are seen or heard when the issue occurs? Network error when trying Facebook twitter etc

5) Does this happen on 2G, 3G, 4G or all? all

6) When did you first notice this issue? Wed 22nd March

7) Is the issue permanent - Yes

Hi.

 

 

Your local masts show as fine but a surrounding masts is at issue but states possible issues with calls. 

 

"We're trying to fix a network issue which might be affecting calls coverage. It’s still being worked on by our engineers. We'll update this page as soon as we know more."

 

If this was my situation id look at the following....

 

  • Online myVodafone has no data bars applied. 
  • Mobile Data is turned on in the phones settings. 
  • Definitely try the sim in another compatible phone to ensure its not the phone or sim card that has degraded. Any Vodafone store can replace the sim card if required.
