No Internet Access but connected

Hi

My vodafone broadband dongle K3570-Z has credit but the only site it connects to is Vodafone web site to buy more credit.

 

I have tried the dongle on a different PC with the same result. The software version is 10.1.0.25677 with no updates available.

 

Any help is appreciated.

Hi avista,

 

When you say the dongle has credit, do you mean that it has funds showing in the balance, or that you still have some of your last bundle showing? 

 

If it's credit you're referring to, then is it possible that your last bundle ran out or expired and the remaining balance is not enough to pay for a new one? The top-up screens are specifically made available to load whether you have data allowance remaining or not, so this would fit the pattern if they are the only pages you can load - if it was a signal or general connectivity issue then they would be similarly affected.

 

Also, as listed on our mobile broadband page, the version number you've quoted does not match with the latest available. We'll need to sort out the access issue first, but once done I'd recommend going there to get the update.

Hi Dave
Thank you for your response. I have a pay as you go package with this dongle and currently have £11 credit.
Also when I try to update the software version it suggests no newer version available.

I have not received your mail to my PM box yet.
