Note 7 refund

What is the refund procedure for those who had note 7s?

I had a note 7 for about 3 and a half months. When i returned it i phoned up to check it had been received.

I was told by the lady in the returns department that i would get a full refund for everything i had paid while i had the note 7. She transferred me to billing for it to be arranged.

The guy there was confused. Not knowing anything about note 7 refunds.

He then did see a note and said i will get a full refund paid into my bank within 5 working days.

That was 2 weeks ago. I phoned up today and the lady i spoke to knew nothing about a refund.

What should i expect?

Part of what you pay is for the phone. But we no longer have the phone.

  I didn’t ask for a refund. I was told that I would be getting a refund of everything I paid by the returns team. Who then transferred me to billing for it to happen.

I was told the money would be refunded into my account within 5 working days.  Which it didn’t.

Because they have to under UK consumwr law. The device part of the contract was around £30pm so in my case they were forced to pay £93 for just this, total amount was over £320.

Of course this would not have been the case if Vodafone had handled the situation properly from the beginning
