Hi, I have recently took out a contract with Vodafone and transferred my old number but can only receive calls and text from Vodafone networks. Anyone that’s not on Vodafone cannot call or text me, when I call Vodafone about this issue they say it’s all completed but it’s not as I’m not receiving calls and text from any other network other than vodafone.

Hi @KEL9_89 you could try manually selecting another network, it won't let you connect then go back to Vodafone and see if that helps.
When did you port ?

Hey there, when you say you brought your number, I'm guessing from another network?
What it sounds like here is a split number port.
What you need to do (probably tomorrow now as the porting team don't work weekends) is call 191, ask to be transferred to the number port team. Explain you have a split port and they'll sort it out for you.
Some front line customer care rep telling you everything is completed and failing to escalate this for you when you're telling them it's clearly not is very poor.
But all you want is working service, do the above and the porting team will sort.

Thank you. I have recently contacted Vodafone again and have finally got an agent that could be bothered to look into it, it’s showing completed but when he looked into it, my old provider EE havnt completed it their end and should be all done by midnight tomorrow, so fingers crossed
