Problems receiving calls after port from O2

Hi, ported my number from O2 a week ago, now I am unable to receive calls from other people on O2. I can call out, receive calls from any other network and use texts No problem but when someone on O2 tries to call it just says call failed (my partner is on O2). Spoke to customer services a few times and they are no use, keep saying it'll be sorted but won't give me a timeframe and when I checked this morning, work on the problem hadn't started.

It is a big issue as I require phone contact for work and they don't seem to get that.

Ive rebooted, reset, reinstalled the sim etc. No joy.

Anyone had a similar issue and sorted it? If they can't fix it, it'll be a short lived dalliance on Vodafone as it just isn't goood enough. 10 years on o2 and no problems like this, I left because I thought Vodafone was better value for what I wanted.

Hi

Sounds like a Split Port white the files haven't settled properly.

Do you know if this has been escalated to the Vodafone Porting Teams ? As only they can help with this. Customer service on 191 need to do this.

I've tried but will try again

I spoke to O2 and they said from their end it all looks to be ok. Will try the porting team and see what they say, customer services are not that useful and just say it will get sorted. I have little faith.

Will see what they say

Just make sure you ask to be transferred to Porting Support. I had a similar issue, Customer Services aren't great with ports but they do have a Specialist team they can call to fix it.

Ports only happen Monday - Friday during office hours though, so I'd set your expectation that nothing will be able to to be done until Monday now as Vodafone will need to request the files from O2.
