Problems with a new S7 Edge

Hi all, i have just received my Contract Samsung S7 Edge from Carphone Warehouse on Monday 27th March and am having issues. I can make a call and it will be fine for about the first 10 seconds and then it will start to sound like im in a underwater tunnels and then the call drops. This has been happening on every call in multiple locations. I am slo getting very slow speeds on the 4G, typically around 5-6Mbps and videos and things are buffering during playing and quality is dropping. I have checked the vodafone coverage on the website and this is showing as fine for 2g/3g/4g indoors and outdoors in my area (NG5) so i don't understand the issue. I did have a cover on the phone but have removed it and the issues are still present. At the moment i am on the verge of returning the phone and cancelling the contract as in a week i haven't been able to use it for its intended purpose. Incidentally the only call that hasn't experienced issues was when i phoned customer service to seek advice and was told its not our problem its carphone warehouse' cause thats where you got it from.

Please help.

I live in Nottingham too so maybe the problem is worse here. Anyway if you kick off enough like I have on all social media platforms they might swap it for an s8 like they have with me.  No extra charge and no extension to my contract. Discount on my bills for when i didn't have the phone working too. I'm happy now and my s8 has no problems so far

Oh and I was already 1 year into my 2 year contract with my s7edge

That's what I've told them to do for me as I live in Nottingham to but they not having non of it so don't know own what else to do they are a absolute shambles I'm canceling all three of my contracts Tuesday and going to the papers after I've been to report this to ofcom

Yes you need to be a pain in the ##~## and very persistent on the phone as I got hung up on twice after waiting 45 each time to speak to the right person and then being deliberately passed around (you do not want technical team who just use delaying trouble shooting  tactics) to get them to agree to my phone being exchanged for an s8 it took me about 3 hours on the phone and then I spoke to someone from this number who was very helpful (Removed). She agreed that I could do 'stock from store exchange ' for an s8 with no charge which meant I could go into any Vodafone shop that had stock and they would see the notes on my account authorising it. Make sure they send you a text to confirm it too while your on the phone to them as they have lied before and not put the notes on the system making you look stupid in the shop. When i did the exchange in the shop the staff member dealing with me also had the same problem with his s7 edge and said loads of people have too. I went to the Vodafone shop on clumber street near Vic centre

I'm gonna give that ago see what they say I'll keep you informed

Thank you

Apparently I can do the same tomorrow let's see if went yesterday but no stock so let's see what happens

Hi all, i'm back. As i previously stated earlier in this thread i had this contract cancelled under the 14 day cooling off period by Carphone Warehouse and its been pretty smooth sailing since. However today out of the blue i have received a letter from CCSCollections Debt Recovery Team on behalf of Vodafone for an amount of £22.38 owed to Vodafone for an outstanding bill. I have the cancellation letters from Carphone Warehouse and i never received neither this claimed £22.38 bill or even a final bill when the contract was ended. I only had the phone for a maximum of one week! I have called the company who told me i have 7 days to pay or face legal action. This company is a complete joke!!

I have logged into the limited availablility of "My Vodafone" online but it tells me its text a security number to the now non existing phone number so i'm unable to view anything other than the fact it states the account has been cancelled and there are currently no active services on this account.

How can i tell these debt collection people to politely "p*ss off".... when i can't access any details to print off and show them? I have tried offering them the cancellation notice from Carphone Warehouse but they told me thats not sufficient as its not from theire client "Vodafone"
