S7 edge red lines

Anyone else have an issue with their s7 edge having a brolen red line that appears down the screen. Appears when certain colours are displayed and disappears when it changes colour, occurs on the home screen, lock screen and in apps. Anyone know a fix or cause to this?

Hi, don't have that phone but that doesn't sound good. If a factory reset doesn't fix it I would be returning the phone for a replacement. You have a 14 day no questions window to return the phone.

I would certainly follow the 14 day cooling off advice by @63johnw

 

Just to note -> If a person had a phone over 14 days then it is also covered under the 30 day faulty phone terms too.

Thanks for the help, unfortunately the factory reset didn't work, looks like I'm going to have to go into a store tomorrow and see what they can do.

Huge shame as the phone is amazing but I guess these things happen.

They'll arrange a swap. 

 

The store wouldn't be able to help unless you got it from them.

I would ask for a new phone, they may try and send that one for repair but I would be firm about what you want.

Hope it gets sorted without any problems for you.

Spoke to someone on the chat help and they recommended going into a store to have them check it and they may swap the handset.
