I order the S6 Edge black a couple of weeks ago, like many others it hasn't arrived.
Yesterday I tried again unsuccessfully to change where it would be delivered to, but caved in and accepted the promise that itr would be delivered but I would have to take the day off work and stay at home to wait for DPD (you'd have thought I was asking for it to be sent to the moon, but thats another story).
Woke up this morning to a text message :
"Thanks for choosing Vodafone again. Just to confirm, we?ll deliver order number EDM-00000000******** to ********** as soon as stock is available from the manufacturer. We?ll be in touch with an update in the next few days."
Surely, to confirm something, I need to have been told in the first place?
Queue call to Mumbai - only got a straight answer when I said "Look, is it being delivered today, Yes or No"....no. Phone call ended with the unusual sign-off of "Enjoy your morning coffee"...are they being sarcastic, I was fuming!
I then got on live chat and was given a number for the local store and advised to go there as they should have stock. The number given was a mobile number that went straight to vodafone voicemail! They were now clearly having a laugh at my expense.
Against my better judgment I drove the 20 miles to the nearest branch and asked if they had any in stock. The guy said no but would go and check the stock room anyway, what for I am not sure as surely they would know if they had any on launch day!
At this point I was ready to cancel the order, my contract and 15+ year loyalty as a vodafone customer so went next door to carphone warehouse. They told me there that Samsung were having problems with the screens and that the launch date had been put back to the end of the month for the Edge model so nobody has them.
Vodafone continue to deny this but somebody somewhere is telling porkies.
Vodafone, quit lying to your customers and let us know exactly what is happening!

Update : The charger and the case have now arrived......all very useful without the phone!
