Server error when signing up to Spotify entertainment pack

This has happened every time I try and choose to subscribe to spotify entertainment pack. I've tried both on my phone and via a desktop browser. I'm doing the following:

 

  • Go to https://offers.vodafone.com/gb
  • Select 'Spotify Premium' under available offers
  • Accept terms and conditions and click 'Add Spotify Premium Now'
  • Sign up to spotify and press 'okay' on 'Connect Vodafone to your Spotify account' screen
  • I'm returned to vodafone and the message says 'Completing purchase...' after a couple of seconds a popup appears on the screen saying 'A server error occurred. We're very sorry, but we'll need to log you in again'

We have 2 x Vodafone red 20GB sim only packages through our business account and this problem happens for both of them.

I'm still having no joy with this either. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify, deleted my Spotify account, signed up for a new one, nothing seems to work. I've also been on the phone line with no progess made.

 

@Choiyuyuk what did you do to get it to work?

If I log into the Vodafone online account - I can click on the "exclusive offers" and there's nothing in there except the 10% off additional handsets etc.

This Vodafone account is for my daughter - and she's not had any Spotify - even the free version - for months now.

The first thing Vodafone said is she has to uninstall Spotify (her free version) otherwise they can't fix the problem. So she's not had any kind of Spotify since. Nice one Vodafone. How much would it cost to employ people who can fix problems?

It's such short term thinking. She's probably told 100 people at her school about the fact she can't have Spotify because we switched to Vodafone. They probably told a few people each. This is your future potential customer base Vodafone. You can pretty much guarantee ALL of them will tell their parents at contract renewal time - will make sure they don't switch to the Vodafone network.
