Hi, I am having setup issues with a new Sure Signal V2 setup.
I have registered the device... Serial 40121319483. Web site says success.
I have opened the usual ports on my BT HomeHub (from the forum support)
Done the tracert with the results:

The red power light is on. The Signal light is on and steady and the phone light is off. I have an iPhone 5 and unable to connect to the device. Can you help?

@aging_product - I’ve arranged for an update to be sent through to your Sure Signal.
This can take up to 6 hours, so please make sure you leave your Sure Signal connected so this completes.
After six hours, restart your phone and it should connect.

Is this working now? It can take a while after setup (can be upto 24hrs) for the registration online to pull your data such as IMSI and download that to the access list on the device.
If its been longer than 24hrs can you run a speedtest and post the results? Your Trace Route looks fine with just one small increase on hop 4 but that shouldn't be an issue.

Hi,
I have waited all weekend, rebooted the device a few times but no success. The power light is on, system light on and steady and no phone connection. My Speedtest results are:

Everything is looking ok, Traceroute shows no issues, speed test and ping results are good and the light sequence shows the VSS is setup and ready for use.
Can i check what phone you have? Have you tried switching it to 3G only?
It may also be useful if the forum team can check if a firmware update can be sent to the VSS and force a resync to make sure the access list is updated.

I have an iPhone 5 which is on 3G already.
Do you know how I can get an firmware refresh on my VSS device.

I have similar problem. How can I update the firmware on my VSS2? It's been longer than 30 hours since the reset and the lights are stil flashing.
