Hi my broadband suddenly stopped working about an hour ago with out any symptons or warnings..
I've reset my router and checked all wires are in place. Every time I reconnect to the Wi-Fi it brings up the page asking me to reconnect to the dsl line which I have done numerous times

Have you you tried switching the router Off for a few minutes and then back On ?
Have you tried a Ethernet cable ?
Forgetting the WiFi Connection in the device and resetting up connection can help.
Trying these types of Troubleshooting tips are advisable before calling the Team as they’ll ask questions like this probably as well as checking from their end.
Can you still makes calls too.
