Sure Signal 3 dead after powercut?

Hi guys

 

Had a massive thunderstorm here earlier which cut the power. Everything came back on besides the sure signal, which now isn't responding at all. No matter how long I hold the button down, no lights come on. Any ideas?

adjoto...OK. When I was  failing to get my new SSV3 to connect, I was  told  by the  techical  wizards on here  that I  needed  to open  lots of ports ( whatever  that means ) on my router.....nobody  ever  suggested  that I might have a defective  unit. Seems  they have a different  story  for each of us !!

I think to connect is a different thing and you stand a better chance. Mine was completely out. No loights coming up at all, no matter what
