Any update on when we can expect fullfilment?

Thanks

Hi guys,

We're looking into this for you.

As soon as we've got an update, we'll post again.

Thanks,

Ian

Same here,. Went to purchase a new Sure Signal box when the old one died... Went in store, no stock, so orderd one online... then Vodafone cancelled our online order, no stock available. Back to highstreets in surrounding areas, same story no stock in shops and no one seems to know when it is going to be available. No one from Vodafone can say when Sure Signal is next becoming available... wouldnt mind but I work from home without a phone signal and paying a monthly rental for no signal! Reading previous strings on this forum and it is evident that this is a common problem with Vodafone.. It is bizarre that a major telecommunications compnay fails miserably to communicate and supply stock in 2014! ! Pah! Meanwhile latest Sure Signal boxes are rallying on ebay for £160!  I wonder when they really will be available... over to you tech guys..

I have to absolutely agree! Such a huge company and over the past 2-3 months I've experienced nothing but poor customer service and false promises.

I ordered originally and itm eventually was cancelled, called support and was told the reason was I hadn't verified my online account (which i hadn't becuase i never received the email when i clicked the resend button). After i had remade the account with support they told me to reorder the sure signal device and it would FOR SURE work this time, as soon as i placed my order i INSTANTLY got an email telling me it was out of stock and they'd be in touch my phone... 3 days later no call! haha

All you can do is laugh, as that's all it's worth now.

Hi everyone,

We don't have any news on when new stock will arrive I'm afraid.

If we're unable to fulfill an order after 14 days, we're legally obliged to cancel it.  This is for Data Protection reasons - We can't hold card details for longer, without charging for the product.

You would need to replace the order and go through the process again.

Many thanks,

Phil

So Phil, its basically a cycle of attempt to purchase and have our place in a "queue", wait wait wait and then get cancelled..... Then all over again?

There's seriously NO other information on the situation ??

The waiting list is only going to grow and grow

Pull up a chair and pour a glass of wine, this ones a long one..

Firstly... Would it not be possible for the product buying department at Vodafone HQ to be informed of the fustrations of their customers that are waiting for stock. Come on Vodafone, I am sure you have the ability to find the information out and let your customers know... clue is get in touch with your central buying department speak to your Sure Signal Product Manager and get them to go back to the manufacturer (Sagem?) ask what is happening and when are they going to supply? And then NOTIFY your customers.... If unable, then either find another reliable and consistent supplier or pull Sure Signal from sale and stop taking their money knowing you are unable to supply... Meanwhile anxious and fustrated customers are hassling your "customer service" operators who are totally clueless on matters Sure Signal and their only retort is to check outy eBay ? 😕

Secondly (there's more) Curiously it appears yuou have changed the design of Sure Signal 3 times in the last 4 years and each year the same pattern of failure to supply is a problem... Does this mean that there is a serious problem with the units you are not telling? Are these dangerous or unsafe to use?  Time to write to BBC Watchdog methinks...

I'm in agreeance with Dagge! Terrible customer support, not even terrible... just non existant

I am another frustrated long term vodafone user in the same position - am sure Watchdog would love to get their teeth into this saga. Like others, I find it incredulous that an organisation as big as Vodafone can be so 'slopy shouldered' about such an important issue. Could someone senior in the organisation respond to the Forum to calm us all down?

Well in an interesting turn of events, I reordered the other day (glutton for punishment I know) and apparently a device is waiting for collection at my local store (I selected delivery there).

Chain of emails this morning:

Your order has been dispatched followed shortly by your order is ready for collection.

Collection will be attempted at lunch, stand by for updates.
