Sure Signal V3 - Power Light ON - Internet FLASHING

Hi,

I have a version 3 SureSignal, serial 40131941011 connected to my Sky router.

Initially it worked fine, but it stopped connecting a few weeks ago.  I have reset it many times but nothing ever happens apart from the power light being on and the internet light flashing slowly (no other lights).

Here are the results that you often ask users to send:

Speed test:  8.23 Mbps down, 0.92 Mbps Up

Ping test: 34ms

External IP: 176.24.138.134

Serial number: 40131941011

Traceroute results:

Hi jft

Thanks for providing your traceroute it looks fine to me. I've given it a re sync from our end hopefully this will give it a kick start :Smiling:

Please do a factory re-set and let me know how you get on.

VSS Factory Reset

  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

Thanks

Sukhi

I've done 3 factory resets now but am still having the same result - solid power & flashing Internet light.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Ive had the same problem for the last week and after several 'discussions' with vodafone we still have no result. Is your problem fixed yet?  Are you in a city or semi-rural? We were told its an ISP issue.

No, not fixed yet.
We're in the greater london area so I'd expect the coverage to be good.

It's odd that it was working perfectly and has now just decided to stop working.
